As Technology and Accounts specialists we offer all Landlords, the Self Employed and Sole Traders a free consultation to run through HMRC's new MTD rules and identify how best to make this work for you.

We also offer a fast service setting up the cloud-based accounting software HMRC now require you to use on a daily basis and by the start of the next financial year. These preparations include providing a simple way of capturing digital copies of all receipts which send and attach directly into your accounts. Full training and support provided.

What does Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA) mean?

- Instead of you or your agent on your behalf using HMRC’s website to file your Tax Returns, you’ll need to keep digital records and use compatible accounts software which will link up with and submit to HMRC what they need, when they want it.

- Digital copies of bills and receipts need to be made and attached to your account’s transactions.

- Trading figures will be sent to HMRC every 4 months and an end of year statement (EOPS) at the end of your fourth quarter.

- A final declaration that includes all other taxable income will be sent to HMRC by 31 January every year.
